MC Countries
Four nations. One world. Build, battle, brawl.

The gamemode
Everyone who joins lands in the choice room and picks one of four countries. From then on that nation is your team, your island, your colour and your spawn: you wake up on your own bedrock circle, not at a shared hub.
Nations compete for points. Killing a player from a rival nation scores one; killing your own costs one. Voting for the server scores one. Tribute, trade and settlement score the rest. The nation on top at the end of the week wins a bigger capitol: its bedrock circle grows by one block of radius, permanently.
The world advances through eras, from Settlement to Conquest. Each era unlocks more of the map and loosens what you are allowed to break: at the start you are locked to your own island, and by the end nothing is protected, capitols included. On reset day the islands are rebuilt from scratch, but your capitol build is snapshotted first and put back exactly where it stood.
